As a ADIA member we are kept up to date with any major changes in the security industry and safety legislation, from their quarterly newsletters, various courses and automatic door guides, so we can ensure our customers we are always compliant to the most recent standards.

We also have the opportunity to create lasting professional relationships through this accreditation, hear about breaking news in the industry, learn “best practices” or new ideas from other organisations in the security industry.  All of which allows us to give our customers high-quality security solutions to meet all their needs.

How They Got Started

ADIA (The Automatic Door Installation Association) was created in 2013 and over 20 years’ experience within the automatic door industry. They have helped developing training in health and safety with the BS EN16005 qualification accredited by City & Guilds.

 

From this qualification, ADIA developed the DoorSafe Register which promotes those organisations who have completed the BS EN16005 accreditation including their City & Guilds registration details and company details. Improvement and development in health and safety of installation, maintenance, servicing and supply of automatic doors is still ADIA’s main focus.

Their Mission

ADIA’s aim is to be the representative body for installation of door technology, products and systems. They always strive to promote the highest level of quality, safety and professionalism within the automatic door industry while the use of ADIA members, their products and systems.

The association continue to lobby for a business environment where ADIA members can thrive by maintaining fair trade and competition throughout the industry.

    The association and the BS EN16005 qualification accredited by City & Guilds are also recognised by CSCS and Safe Contractor.

    ADIA has developed several courses including a Fault Finding course and Service and Maintenance to train and extend the knowledge of its members on health and safety practices. It has also pushed the boundaries in promoting health and safety to thousands of businesses across the UK and continues to find ways to do so.
