Coronavirus Statement from BGB, critical response for essential sites. 

The COVID-19 pandemic has had unprecedented effects on communities and families in the UK, and around the world. During this difficult time, BGB is continuing to do everything in our power to protect our team, our customers and maintain operational standards as far as is practical.

For sites that are essential, we have an emergency critical response team that can attend on a 24-hour emergency basis. 

We are monitoring the situation daily, planning for all possibilities, adhering to the guidelines set out by the government, Public Health England and Health & Safety Executive. The BGB office is now closed, the phone lines have been redirected to our management team, who are working remotely and remain available during normal working hours.

Emergency out of hours calls between 5pm and 8:30am, including weekends and bank holidays, will continue to be answered by BGB’s dedicated out of hours team.

All email enquiries and requests should be re-directed to both [email protected] and [email protected] who will respond as quickly as possible.

Also, we have now implemented the critical and necessary steps to continue to support our customers, staff, the NHS and tackle the spread of the virus.

• We have adapted the way we work to minimise social contact, by keeping the proper distance in all environments and remote working.
• All travel and meetings have been rescheduled unless absolutely necessary, replaced by video conferencing.
• More rigorous sanitation procedures have been introduced, including the government recommended handwashing techniques and sanitising wipes for surfaces and high traffic areas.
• We are updating employees and customers on current government recommendations regularly to limit the risk of infection and spread.

BGB will continue to respond promptly as the situation changes and evolves, we hope to resume back to normal daily operations as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience in these unprecedented times.
