At Boundary Gate and Barrier business is booming and we are looking to add resource to our busy Service Department by employing a Service Estimator/Co-ordinator. The ideal candidate would have previous estimating/service department experience or may have an engineering or technical background in our field and be looking for a change of role.

Your Key Job Activities:
• Liaising with suppliers to gain parts estimates and technical specifications.
• Costing and providing service repairs quotations to customers within agreed SLA times.
• Chasing orders with suppliers
• Receiving in part deliveries on sage and allocating to jobs
• Liaising with customers on service bookings and orders.
• Controlling parts stock in workshop.
• Telephone answering and logging of reactive calls.
• Liaising with customers and suppliers over the telephone and via email
• Assisting the Service Director with other service tasks as required.


Who are we looking for?

• Minimum grade A-C/4-9 in Maths and English.
• Ideal job for an engineer, ex technical advisor or someone with customer service/estimating experience.
• Ability to manage your own time and work to deadlines. •
A confident individual who is comfortable talking to colleagues, existing/prospective clients and external providers/suppliers.
• Computer literate with a good basic knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience in estimating is beneficial, but not crucial as the necessary training will be provided.
• A team player who is dedicated and invested in the role and our brand.
