BGB Contacts are a well-established company with sites across the UK where we maintain repair and install Automatic Gates, Barriers, Turnstiles, Blockers, Bollards, Automatic Doors and Roller Shutters. We are a North West based company operating nationally and are looking for an Experienced BDM to join our service team at the Bolton Office.

Position Overview. – New Maintenance Business Development Manager.

As New Maintenance Business Development Manager, you’ll identify new business opportunities to generate new maintenance revenue across the UK, improve profitability and help the business growth.  It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be a self-motivated, conscientious, and experienced Sales Executive or BDM, with proven track record of exceeding sales targets and excellent customer retention. 

Key Skills:

• Researching and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, customers, tenders, or new ways of reaching existing markets
• Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
• Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
• Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
• Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
• Understand the maintenance needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
• Compile maintenance quotations and draw up client contracts.
• Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them.
• Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
• The candidate must possess a clean UK driving licence.
• Proven Sales Performance essential, background in Gate and Barrier/Automatic Door/Shutter Sales experience would be an advantage but not a necessity.
• Must have full clean Uk Driving Licence.

Position Remuneration

• Salary £35-45K negotiable based on experience
